“Why My Boudoir Session Was the Best Decision I Made For Myself!"

When they say self-love is a journey... believe them. Iʼve always been so insecure about myself which ultimately held me back for years from doing a session with Bella Rosa. Back in 2017, I finally booked & WENT THROUGH with my session & it truly was the best decision I made for myself!

But my life didn’t magically change after my first session, but it certainly jumpstarted my journey to accepting my body & accepting who I was. And I can definitely tell you I wouldn’t guess that I would be where I am today had I not walked up those stairs & gotten past the nauseous anxiety leading up to it.

Just know, that nerves are normal & they go away so fast! I know what youʼre thinking because I thought it too. “They have to say that!” But believe them when they say it because itʼs true! I honestly wish I didnʼt wait so long to finally take the leap but everything happens for a reason, right?

Over the last few years, Iʼve done multiple sessions, each one I see more and more confidence & acceptance. Each time I come out of my shell, so to speak, and they continue to be more fun! When I look back at photos from my first couple of sessions, I see such a huge difference & Iʼm not just talking about the changes in my hair & lack of tattoos!

Which thatʼs always crazy seeing and Iʼm so glad to have different parts of my life documented.

Thatʼs why the last session I did was the most fun one Iʼve done so far! Iʼve done an outdoor session a few times, from beach weeks & a river session but this one was the best. I felt totally in my element & it was so fun!

Iʼve always loved being outside & Iʼve held Nevada county close to my heart. And to do a session that involves being around plants that are rooted in the countyʼs “culture” in a sense was so cool. Not to mention, it smelled amazing!
